The masterminds behind "Madden NFL 13" are watching and tweaking -- always.
Brooks: Third year's a charm
Spiller leads the NFL with 292 rushing yards and his yards per attempt mark (10.1) sounds closer to a Madden beatdown than anything happening in the real world. He's been sensational out of the gate, but was this a knee-jerk reaction from the EA people?
Possibly not. The argument for Spiller is how well he fits in Buffalo's fast-paced spread offense, which dots receivers across the field and opens lanes for backs. We saw Spiller evolve toward the end of last season and his expanded role in the Bills attack is here to stay.
Good move, Madden brainiacs.
