Brian Banks was unable to land a job in the NFL following his release from prison, but he's managed to secure a gig playing professional football nonetheless.
CBSLA.com reported Tuesday that Banks has signed with the United Football League's Las Vegas Locomotives, whose season kicks off on Sept. 19.
Banks, 26, was a former blue-chip high school prospect in Los Angeles who spent five years in prison after accepting a plea deal on one count of forcible rape in 2003. Following his release from prison, Banks had to register as a sex offender and wear an electronic tracking bracelet. Banks' conviction was overturned last month after his accuser admitted she lied.
