Bengals to hold moment of silence for Cowboys player

The Cincinnati Bengals will hold a moment of silence before Sunday's game against the Cowboys to honor Dallas linebacker Jerry Brown Jr., NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported.

Bengals officials discussed the wording with the Cowboys and agreed on saying the moment of silence is "in memory of the passing of Jerry Brown."

Brown was killed in an auto accident Saturday morning when Cowboys teammate Josh Brent hit a curb and flipped his vehicle. Brent was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

Former Illinois coach Ron Zook told Rapoport, "We felt like Josh Brent had finally grown up."
