Baltimore Ravens want Tom Brady to throw football

The Baltimore Ravens want the New England Patriots to throw the football during Sunday's AFC Championship Game. Sounds like a dangerous way to live, right?

The Ravens beat the Patriots 31-30 during the regular season, holding starting running back Stevan Ridley to 37 yards. So, they know what they're doing.

"The run game was shut down and the pass game, they were getting after him," linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo told Comcast SportsNet Baltimore. "They were hitting him. When you hit him, you make him uncomfortable and he becomes like the rest of the quarterbacks -- just another quarterback. If the offensive line blocks and he sits there and gets to do his thing, then he's one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time."

Brady was sacked twice and hit six times in the loss to the Ravens. He was sacked four times and hit six times in Patriots' Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Brady was sacked three times and hit seven in a December loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Ravens don't have a chance to win if they can't pressure Brady in the pocket and force him out of his comfort zone. It's as simple as that.
