Atlanta Falcons' Roddy White to play vs. Detroit Lions

Falcons coach Mike Smith first confirmed to NFL Network's Randy Moss that White will play against the Detroit Lions.

White had been listed as questionable with a knee injury. White sat out practice for a second week in a row, as the Falcons have tried to give the veteran as much time to rest the knee as possible. He started last week against the New York Giants, finishing with two catches for 16 yards.

For the season, White has 79 receptions for 1,156 yards and five touchdowns.
