ATL Warming Seat: Ken Whisenhunt joins the party

Here's a list you don't want to be on. Every week, Around The League breaks down five coaches whose seats are warming up as the weather cools down.

Is your coach feeling the heat? Pretend you didn't see the illustration above and find out.

1. Andy Reid, Philadelphia Eagles

(Last week: No. 1)

I want to slide Reid out of the top spot out of a basic sense of compassion, but we need to be firm on this one. Reid is like the biggest piece of furniture in a house being cleared out by the Eagles. They'll move him eventually, but they're saving that job for last.

2. Norv Turner, San Diego Chargers

(Last week: No. 3)

This week on That's Norv!, Coach must feign surprise when Philip Rivers throws an inevitable game-killing pick late in the fourth quarter! Viewer's note: This is not a re-run.

3. Ken Whisenhunt, Arizona Cardinals

(Last week: Unranked)

Whiz makes his Warming Seat debut thanks to that truly wretched quarterback situation. The Cardinals went 0-for-15 on third downs against the Jets. 0-for-15! And yet, Whisenhunt never pulled Ryan Lindley. John Skelton is going to need extreme therapy for this self-esteem destruction.

4. Mike Mularkey, Jacksonville Jaguars

(Last week: Unranked)

Shad Khan appears to be a patient man, but he's also a businessman. The Jaguars have lost eight of their last nine games. When Chad Henne is the only person standing between you and certain doom, well, things aren't looking too hot.

5. Mike Munchak, Tennessee Titans

(Last week: No. 4)

Just think how much different Munchak's season -- nay, life -- would be if Peyton Manning chose the Titans in the offseason. There's a reason John Fox hasn't sniffed this list.
