The latest possible deal: NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that the St. Louis Rams are talking to the Buffalo Bills about moving up to the No. 8 overall position in the draft. Our strong guess for their target: West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin.

There is some belief that teams will have to trade ahead of the New York Jets, who first pick at No. 9 overall, to get Austin. Around The League saw Austin in the players' green room just before the draft. He was sitting quietly, soaking up the moment.

"This is something else," he said, shaking his head.

And it's finally here.

UPDATE: NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah reports it's the Cleveland Browns' No. 6 pick the Rams are targeting.
