AFC, NFC players of the week to be revealed on NFL Network

The NFL will announce the AFC and NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week during Wednesday's "NFL AM" on NFL Network. "NFL AM" airs at 6 a.m. ET and re-airs at 10 a.m. ET.

Teams submit their own nominees for weekly honors. Here are Week 5's nominees:

AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Jamaal Charles, RB: Rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries with one touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs' 26-17 win over the Tennessee Titans.
T.Y. Hilton, WR: Had five receptions for 140 yards (28 average) with two touchdowns in the Indianapolis Colts' 34-28 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Terrelle Pryor, QB: Completed 18 of 23 passes for 221 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Oakland Raiders' 27-17 win over the San Diego Chargers.
Julius Thomas, TE: Had nine receptions for 122 yards with two touchdowns in the Denver Broncos' 51-48 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Geno Smith, QB: Completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the New York Jets' 30-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Peyton Manning, QB: Passed for 414 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in the Denver Broncos' 51-48 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Torrey Smith, WR: Had six receptions for 121 yards in the Baltimore Ravens' 26-23 win over the Miami Dolphins.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Sam Bradford, QB: Passed for 222 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the St. Louis Rams' 34-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Drew Brees, QB: Completed 29 of 35 passes for 288 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the New Orleans Saints' 26-18 win over the Chicago Bears.
Jimmy Graham, TE: Had 10 catches for 135 yards in the New Orleans Saints' 26-18 win over the Chicago Bears.
DeSean Jackson, WR: Had seven catches for 132 yards and a touchdown in the Philadelphia Eagles' 36-21 win over the New York Giants.
Alshon Jeffery, WR: Had 10 catches for a franchise-record 218 yards and a touchdown in the Chicago Bears' 26-18 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Tony Romo, QB: Completed 25 of 36 passes for a franchise-record 506 yards with five touchdowns and one interception in the Dallas Cowboys' 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Wallace Gilberry, DE: Had four tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble in the Cincinnati Bengals' 13-6 win over the New England Patriots.
Robert Mathis, LB: Posted six tackles, two sacks, one pass defensed and forced one fumble in the Indianapolis Colts' 34-28 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Danny Trevathan, LB: Had five tackles, one interception and one pass defensed in the Dallas Cowboys' 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Terrell Suggs, LB: Posted five tackles and three sacks in the Baltimore Ravens' 26-23 win over the Miami Dolphins.
T.J. Ward, S: Posted five tackles, one pass defensed and a 44-yard interception-return touchdown in the Cleveland Browns' 37-24 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Muhammad Wilkerson, DE: Had seven tackles, one sack and one forced fumble in the New York Jets' 30-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Charles Woodson, S: Had four tackles, one interception and a fumble recovery touchdown in the Oakland Raiders' 27-17 win over the San Diego Chargers.

NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Tramaine Brock, CB: Had two interceptions, including an 18-yard touchdown return, and two tackles in the San Francisco 49ers' 34-3 win over the Houston Texans.
Calais Campbell, DE: Had two sacks, a forced fumble and four tackles in the Arizona Cardinals' 22-6 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Morris Claiborne, CB: Had an interception and a tackle in the Dallas Cowboys' 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Matt Giordano, S: Had an 82-yard interception-return touchdown and four tackles in the St. Louis Rams' 34-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Mychal Kendricks, LB: Had an interception, a fumble recovery and four tackles in the Philadelphia Eagles' 36-21 win over the New York Giants.
Mike Neal, DE: Had six tackles and a sack in the Green Bay Packers' 22-9 win over the Detroit Lions.
Nick Perry, LB: Had two sacks, a forced fumble and five tackles in the Green Bay Packers' 22-9 win over the Detroit Lions.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Travis Benjamin, PR: Returned seven punts for 179 yards, including a 79-yard touchdown, in the Cleveland Browns' 37-24 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Nick Folk, K: Made all three field goals (22, 36 and 43 yards), inlcuding the game-winner, in the New York Jets' 30-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Delano Howell, S: Returned a blocked field goal for a 61 yard-TD in the Indianapolis Colts' 34-28 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Matt Prater, K: Made all three field goals (48, 50 and 28 yards) in the Denver Broncos' 51-48 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Justin Tucker, K: Made four field goals (42, 50, 25 and 44 yards), including the game-winner, in the Baltimore Ravens' 26-23 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Ryan Succop, K: Made four field goals (29, 24, 33 and 48) in the Kansas City Chiefs' 26-17 win over the Tennessee Titans.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Mason Crosby, K: Scored 16 points by converting all five field-goal attempts and one PAT in the Green Bay Packers' 22-9 win over the Detroit Lions.
Jay Feely, K: Converted both field-goal attempts and both PATs in the Arizona Cardinals' 22-6 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Alex Henery, K: Converted all five field-goal attempts and three PATs in the Philadelphia Eagles' 36-21 win over the New York Giants.
