Adam Snyder to start for Mike Iupati in Rams-49ers tilt

San Francisco 49ers reserve left guard Adam Snyder will make his second consecutive start for Pro Bowl pick Mike Iupati, Niners offensive coordinator Greg Roman announced Thursday.

Roman all but confirmed that Iupati will miss the team's matchup with the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

Iupati suffered a sprained MCL in the 49ers' 23-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 11.

Before Iupati's injury, the 49ers had started the same offensive line since the beginning of the 2012 regular season.

Despite the notable loss, the team did receive some good news on Thanksgiving Day. The wide receiver quartet of Anquan Boldin, Quinton Patton, Mario Manningham and the recently activatedMichael Crabtree practiced together for the first time this season, per the 49ers' official website.
