Rex Ryan: Buffalo Bills' 10-men fail cost us the game

Hard Truth Time for all you Rexamaniacs out there: Rex Ryan was probably done regardless of what happened during Saturday's loss to the Dolphins.

But if there was any lingering doubt amongst the suits in Orchard Park, this didn't help:

Well, more specifically this:

Which I confirmed with this:

Ryan at least owned it when asked about the play on Monday.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and it should never happen but it did happen," he said. "And it cost us the game. That's how I'll look at it."

Ryan did not want to give up who goofed, instead telling reporters the mistake was on his shoulders. When that prompted follow-up questions, Ryan answered like a defeated man. This is a sad watch in general if you like Rex, but things get especially depressing in the last 20 seconds or so.

Ryan was asked if the Ajayi run will be his defining moment in Buffalo.

"Well, I hope it isn't, but if it is, it's something I'll have to live with."

Sad Rex is the worst kind of Rex. It's tough to see him go out like this.
