Niners' Reggie Bush suffers calf strain in victory

Reggie Bush's first start in San Francisco was short-lived.

The 49ers running back was carted off the field with a calf injury early in the first quarter of Monday's 20-3 win over the Vikings and did not return. Coach Jim Tomsula said after the game that Bush suffered a calf strain.

Bush had just two carries for eight yards before exiting.

There was some other injury news on Monday night:

  1. Following the Eagles' loss to the Falcons, Sam Bradford had "precautionary X-rays," but said "everything was good." Bradford has a history of ACL and knee injuries, but did not clarify what injury the Eagles were looking into.
