Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh represents a major headache for offenses around the NFL. When he lines up against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, Jim Harbaugh and Co. plan to deliver a headache of their own.
The 49ers won't dance around the behemoth, but go right at Suh with their "jumbo" formation, which stacks an overflow of big uglies up on the line and challenges defenses to a contest of power.

"It's like going back to high school," right guard Alex Boonetold The Sacramento Bee. "It's like, 'Now we'll see who's going to beat who.'"
Niners offensive coordinator Greg Roman began experimenting with the jumbo set years ago as a high school coach, and it's a perfect fit for San Francisco's ground-and-pound mentality on offense.
Watch for it Sundasy night. You'll see San Francisco add 355-pound tight end Leonard Davis and 308-pound wing back Daniel Kilgore up front in an effort to neutralize internal pressure.
The Bee noted that Harbaugh went after Suh last season with the "wham" block, which asked a tight end to slam into the defender after a running start. San Francisco blasted Detroit for 203 yards on the ground in that Week 6 victory and they weren't afraid to challenge the Green Bay Packers with straight-ahead power in the opener.
Suh and Lions know what's coming their way on Sunday night. Stopping it is another conversation.
