Veteran coach Henderson will tutor Cardinals' defensive backs

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals announced the hiring of Donnie Henderson as their new defensive backs coach Monday.

Henderson has 26 years of coaching experience, including nine seasons as an NFL assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2008), Detroit Lions (2006), New York Jets (2004-05) and Baltimore Ravens (1999-2003).

Henderson also was an assistant coach at Arizona State from 1992 to 1997 and at California (1990-91), Houston (1998), Idaho (1989) and Utah State (1986-88).
