Report: Texans sign veteran K Rackers to two-year contract

The Houston Texans signed kicker Neil Rackers to a two-year contract worth $4.1 million, the Houston Chroniclereported Monday.

Rackers spent the past seven years with Arizona before his time in the desert came to an end after the Cardinals signed Jay Feely last week.

Rackers, who was 16 of 17 on field goals last season, will compete for the job with Kris Brown.

Brown hit on 21 of 32 attempts last season and had some critical misses late in games.
