Ravens LB Lewis says he'll return for 17th NFL season

BALTIMORE -- Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis said Sunday that he plans to come back next season, preemptively stating his case before questions could be asked about his future.

"Is this my last time as a Raven? Absolutely not," the 36-year-old said after Baltimore's 23-20 loss to the New England Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Lewis recorded 95 tackles, 2.0 sacks and one interception in his 16th NFL season, all with the Ravens. He was selected to his 13th Pro Bowl this season.
