FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Wes Welker is back for the Patriots after missing two games with a knee injury.

The wide receiver who caught 12 passes in his only game before Sunday was among New England's active players against the Baltimore Ravens. Nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who sat out the rest of last week's 26-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons after injuring his left ankle in the second quarter, also was active Sunday.

But linebacker Jerod Mayo, who practiced for the first time Friday after spraining his right knee in the first quarter of the opener, was inactive.

Linebacker Tavares Gooden was Baltimore's only inactive starter. He had limited participation in practice last week because of head and shoulder problems.
