Laremy Tunsil wears Alabama hat, says 'Roll Tide' to pay off bet

Saturday's Alabama-Ole Miss game had more at stake than good early position in the SEC West standings.

The Crimson Tide's 48-43 comeback win on the road mattered in the Miami Dolphins locker room, as well. At least, it did to rookies Laremy Tunsil and Kenyan Drake. Tunsil, a first-round pick who played at Ole Miss for three seasons, wore an Alabama hat and issued a "Roll Tide" to Drake, the former Alabama running back, in what was clearly a settle-up on a friendly wager the two had on the game.

Tunsil might have been fitting Drake for proper hat size in the first half when the Rebels took a 24-3 lead. The Crimson Tide rebounded for the win, snapping a two-game losing streak in the series, thanks largely to an interception return for a touchdown by one of Alabama's top draft prospects, senior DL Jonathan Allen.

Ole Miss plays host to Georgia on Saturday, and the Dolphins have one former Bulldog on their roster: safety Reshad Jones.

If the Rebels don't turn around a 1-2 start to the season, perhaps Tunsil will find himself wearing Georgia gear next week. If he does, he can only hope to look as sharp as the Carolina Panthers' Tre Boston did in a similar situation.
