While it will be hard to top the circus that went on in College Station at Johnny Manziel's pro day, there's a considerable amount of interest from teams across the NFL and they're flocking to Columbia, S.C., to see Clowney and others work out on Wednesday.
It is a bit unusual to see an owner make an appearance at a pro day, but it should be noted that McNair is a South Carolina alum.
Most of the focus on Wednesday will center around Clowney, who remains atop the Big Board of NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks and Talented Top 50 list of analyst Daniel Jeremiah. Though there's buzz that the team take a quarterback with the top pick, Clowney, the most talented player in one of the deepest drafts in memory, will certainly get more than a look.
It's unlikely Clowney will do anything Wednesday to negatively affect his stock given what he's shown throughout his college career. That's one reason why NFL Media analyst Charles Davis advises the defensive end to avoid the theatrics we witnessed at Manziel's pro day and focus on alleviating concerns about his work ethic.
