INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Darrell Reid was arrested on disorderly conduct and trespassing charges early Sunday after refusing to leave a nightclub's parking lot.
According to a police report, Reid, 26, arrived at Club Oxygen about 1:30 a.m. as an off-duty officer was helping clear the nightclub's parking lot because the club was at capacity.

The officer told Reid he could not enter the nightclub, but the Colts player said he knew the owner and should be allowed to go inside, the police report said.
When the officer again asked Reid to leave, the report said Reid backed up his vehicle and nearly collided with a car that was trying to leave the parking lot.
The officer then told Reid to immediately leave the parking lot. But, according to the report, Reid replied, "I don't have to because I am a football player with the Indianapolis Colts."
The officer replied he didn't care who Reid was and ordered him "for the last time" to leave, according to the report.
Reid was then arrested by the officer after he left his vehicle in park and showed no sign of pulling away from the parking lot, the report said.
Colts spokesman Craig Kelley said the team was aware of the situation but would withhold comment.
It's the second time in less than a year, a Colts player has been arrested for not leaving the parking lot of a night club.
Running back Kenton Keith was arrested in downtown Indianapolis last April. Keith remained on the roster during training camp but was cut before the start of the regular season.
Reid has been a backup throughout his four-year career with the Colts but has became a major contributor on special teams and has served as Indianapolis' fullback when it needs a lead blocker.
He joined the Colts in 2005 when he was an undrafted free agent from Minnesota who made the team's opening day roster.
It's not the first time Reid, who has participated in former coach Tony Dungy's father-son football camps and other community events, has had a run-in with the law.
In 2007, he was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession in his hometown of Freehold, N.J. The officer who responded noticed a strong smell of marijuana and saw a small plastic bag in the open door of Reid's rental car that contained marijuana, police said.
