BuffaloBills.com reported that Bills running back Fred Jackson has been named the team's man of the year for his work with the team's Heads Up Football initiative and breast cancer awareness programs in the community.

Panthers.com announced the Carolina Panthers' awarding of a Heads Up Football grant to the North Carolina high school sports governing body.

USA Football, which announced its All-Fundamental Team on Wednesday, started fan voting for the team captains on USA Football's Facebook page.

USA Football's Football Parents blog looked at the importance of youth coaches and parents embracing the same goal.
