Video: FSU's Jameis Winston was a stud in Pop Warner

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has been dominant in the first five games of his college career. He was that way in youth-league football, too.

A recent YouTube post, presumably from the dad of a former teammate, has highlights from Winston's 125-pound team in the 2005 season in suburban Birmingham, Ala. The highlights show Winston playing quarterback and even some running back, and generally looking like a man among boys as a runner and thrower.

Winston has grown into a 6-foot-4, 228-pounder and has guided FSU to a 5-0 start heading into Saturday night's showdown at Clemson in a matchup of top-five teams.

He was a national top-20 recruit and the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback out of Hueytown (Ala.) High in 2012. He is averaging 288.2 passing yards per game, with 17 TD passes, two interceptions, a 73.2 completion percentage and two rushing touchdowns.
