Veteran WR Curtis among two players cut by Dolphins

MIAMI -- Veteran receiver Kevin Curtis, who came back this season from a knee injury and a bout with testicular cancer, has been released by the Miami Dolphins.

Curtis caught one pass in two games after joining Miami two weeks ago.

The Dolphins also released offensive lineman Eric Ghiaciuc on Tuesday and signed offensive lineman Allen Barbre and linebacker Mike Rivera.

Barbre, a fourth-year pro, has played for Green Bay and Seattle. Rivera was signed off the Packers' practice squad and also has been with Chicago and Tennessee.
