Tulane cornerback Lorenzo Doss, who had 15 interceptions in three seasons with the Green Wave, announced via Twitter that he is giving up his senior season and heading to the NFL.

Doss (5-foot-11, 187 pounds) also had 20 pass breakups in his career. Doss has good speed and great instincts, and was a three-year starter for the Green Wave. Doss, who is 20, never redshirted and had five picks as a true freshman. He had seven interceptions as a sophomore in 2013, taking two back for TDs and leading the nation with 185 return yards. This season, he had three picks and nine breakups.

As with any player, his pre-draft workouts will be important. But Doss might be scrutinized a bit more because teams always need corners. His size is fine and his production excellent, and his 40 times, especially, will draw interest. He looks to be a mid-round pick, which means he could go late on the second day but also last until midway through the third day.
