Tolbert doubtful for Chargers' Monday matchup with Chiefs

San Diego Chargers running back Mike Tolbert is listed as doubtful for Monday night's divisional matchup vs. the Kansas City Chiefs with hand and hamstring injuries.

Tolbert did not participate in practice this week as he nursed the hamstring injury aggravated in last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Curtis Brinkley will likely serve as the backup to Chargers starter Ryan Mathews.

In six games this season Tolbert has carried the ball 47 times for 163 yards and three touchdowns. He has also recorded 28 receptions for 231 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Chiefs will provide their official injury report following their final practice this week on Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium.
