Teams begin scramble to sign undrafted players

NEW YORK -- It was still early in the seventh round of the draft Saturday afternoon when Pat Kirwan and I were chatting with Baltimore Ravens director of player personne Eric DeCosta on Sirius NFL Radio. He was very excited to tell us about the players the Ravens had drafted over the last three days, but he did seem a little distracted.

"I've gotta go, guys," he said at the end of the interview. "We're already busy making calls to these guys that haven't been drafted yet."

Undrafted free agents sign

Now that the draft is over, teams are trying to sign the best college talent still available. Get the list of undrafted rookie free agents who have signed thus far. **More ...**

Teams that waited until after all 255 names were called before evaluating who's left on their draft boards are already behind the eight ball. There will be a mad scramble to sign these rookie free agents. They all are long shots, of course, just to make an NFL roster. But you never know when you will find the next Kurt Warner or Tony Romo.

With that in mind, here is my list of the top players that were still available at the end of the 2010 NFL Draft, and where they have since signed (or received a tryout):
