TCU QB Casey Pachall suffers injury to left forearm

TCU quarterback Casey Pachall suffered an injury to his left forearm late in the first half of the Horned Frogs' game against Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday and will not return.

Pachall put his left hand out to brace his fall at the end of an eight-yard scramble. He was helped to the locker room holding his forearm.

Pachall has been replaced by redshirt sophomore Trevone Boykin. After the two split time last week in a 37-27 loss to LSU, Pachall seemed to be the clear choice at quarterback with Boykin seeing some time as a slot receiver, catching three passes for 25 yards.

Pachall completed 8-of-14 passes for 100 yards and rushed for 12 yards before exiting.
