A total of 14 players worked out outdoors and on grass.
Quarterback Kevin Hogan -- 6-foot-3 1/8, 220 pounds -- had a real good pro-day workout. Hogan -- who has 10 3/8-inch hands -- is working on shortening his delivery. It is quicker and shorter now than it was at the NFL Scouting Combine. Hogan was a four-year starter at Stanford, so he's got to have something going for him. Hogan could wind up being a really good backup quarterback in the NFL.
Wide receiver Devon Cajuste -- 6-3 1/2, 231 -- ran the 40-yard dash in 4.55 and 4.59 seconds. He also performed 14 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. He caught the ball extremely well during his positional workout.
Tight end Austin Hooper -- 6-3 1/2, 253 -- ran the 40 in 4.68 and 4.71 seconds, and then stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. He worked out really good, and helped his draft stock at the pro day.
Offensive tackle Kyle Murphy -- 6-6 1/4, 308 -- is nursing right quad and left hamstring issues, and only did the positional workout, in which he did a good job.
Linebacker Blake Martinez -- 6-1 3/8, 242 -- had a 34-inch vertical jump and did the 60-yard long shuttle in 11.68 seconds. Martinez moved very well in his positional workout, and displayed good instincts. Martinez is an ultra-competitive player.
Defensive end Brennan Scarlett -- 6-4, 269 -- ran the 40 in 4.75 and 4.76 seconds. He had a 31 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-7 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.64 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.28 seconds. Scarlett -- who has 33 3/4-inch arms -- performed 25 reps on the bench press. Scarlett is a good player, but maybe not quite as big as you'd like. He is a priority free-agent pickup possibility for an NFL team following the draft.
Defensive end Aziz Shittu -- 6-2, 288 -- ran the 40 in 5.4 and 5.41 seconds. He had a 29 1/2-inch vertical and 8-foot-6 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.52 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.52 seconds. Shittu -- who has 34-inch arms -- put the bar up 31 times on the bench.
Linebacker Kevin Anderson -- 6-4 3/8, 240 -- ran the 40 in 4.78 and 4.82 seconds. He had a 34-inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.34 seconds and the three-cone in 6.89 seconds. He didn't do the bench press because of a left pectoral injury that he suffered during the season.
