Rice practices, hopes to make Seahawks debut on Sunday

Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice practiced in full on Wednesday, increasing the likelihood that he will make his Seattle debut in the team's home opener Sunday vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

Rice, signed to a five-year, $41 million free-agent contract in the offseason to provide Seattle with a badly needed deep threat in the passing game, missed the first two games due to a sore shoulder.

"He looks like he's ready to go," coach Pete Carroll told the Seattle Times. "His mentality is he's ready to go. He is not even thinking about anything but that. We'll have to make a good decision on that when the time comes. We're day to day on this deal with him."
