The Texans addressed their depth concerns at wide receiver by bringing back David Anderson, the Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday.
Anderson played his first five seasons in Houston before being waived after the NFL lockout ended in late July. He then signed with the Denver Broncos, who cut him at the end of their training camp.
Now Anderson is back where he started, thanks to the uncertainty surrounding Kevin Walter, who suffered a badly bruised collarbone during Sunday's 34-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Anderson is expected to be the Texans' fourth receiver in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. Last season, he had 11 catches for 117 yards.
