Report: Fine totals for player safety flags fell from 2012 to 2013

Player safety fines have been a point of emphasis in recent seasons in the NFL. Some players, like Tampa Bay's Dashon Goldson and Detroit's Ndamukong Suh have been fined in six figures for their play that the league said has put other players in danger.

However, Fox Sports reported that player safety fines in the NFL were down significantly from 2012 season to 2013.
