Quick Take: Titans (1-1) vs. Saints (0-2)

Last meeting
Then Titans quarterback Steve McNair passes for two touchdowns and 252 yards, leading Tennessee past the Saints, 27-12, on Sept. 21, 2003.

Streaks
Tennessee has won two straight to snap a deadlock and take a 6-4-1 series lead.

Last week
The Titans came close to knocking off the defending champion Colts before having a late drive fizzle in a 22-20 home loss. Unlike Tennessee, New Orleans was never close in its game against Tampa Bay, losing 31-14.

At stake
A win would put Tennessee at 2-1 and solidify them as an early threat in the AFC South. After starting 0-2, the Saints are searching for a win to prove their playoff run last season was not a fluke and are looking to avoid digging too deep of a hole in the unpredictable NFC South.

Key matchup
Second-year Titans quarterback Vince Young is just as dangerous running the ball as he is throwing it and the Saints defense has been underwhelming through two games. Any hopes New Orleans has of winning decisively hinge on the defense's ability to at least slow down Young and the powerful Titans running game.

Key Injuries
TENNESSEE: None. NEW ORLEANS: TE Mark Campbell (back)

Did you know?
The Titans are making their first appearance on Monday Night Football since their wild 49-38 loss to the Chiefs on Dec. 13, 2004.
