Though the Falcons won both games with their rushing and defense, Ryan averaged just 170 yards passing, completed just 59.6 percent of his passes and threw one touchdown and two interceptions, while fumbling three times.

Jackson's quest:Rams RB Steven Jackson missed almost all of training camp and the preseason after a holdout and has suffered through an injury-riddled season. Despite those rocky moments, Jackson still has a chance to notch his fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season by rushing for 119 against Atlanta.

Abraham pestering Bulger:Falcons DE John Abraham has been the best pass rushing lineman in the league this season. His 16.5 sacks lead all defensive ends and he has a great chance to pad that total against a Rams squad that has surrendered 42 sacks.
