Panthers starters Otah, Harris miss practice because of injuries

Wyche: Heat is on Panthers

The pressure is on in Carolina, and it's not just on Jake Delhomme, according to Steve Wyche. The issue is that Delhomme's flaws, exploited by opponents, have become public. **More**

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers starting right tackle Jeff Otah and strong safety Chris Harris missed practice Thursday with injuries.

Harris was sidelined for a second consecutive day with a left knee injury that kept him out of Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Otah was out after being listed as limited Wednesday with a sore left shoulder.

Running back Jonathan Stewart participated in some of Thursday's workout after sitting out one day earlier to rest his sore left Achilles' tendon.

Defensive tackle Nick Hayden (toe) didn't practice for a second consecutive day. Defensive ends Everette Brown (ankle) and Charles Johnson (knee) and cornerback Sherrod Martin (knee) were limited.
