Palmer misses Bengals practice but expects to start vs. Jets

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer didn't practice Tuesday, but he was adamant that he would start in the Thanksgiving game against the New York Jets, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis reiterated that Palmer would start Thursday, according to The Enquirer.

Palmer wore a boot during his weekly news conference Tuesday. He also has dealt with an injured hip and a sore throwing shoulder this season.

Also not present at the portion of practice available to the media Tuesday were Bengals cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph, Brandon Ghee and Rico Murray and safety Roy Williams. All have been nursing injuries.
