Packers place Kampman on IR, promote Obiozor

The Green Bay Packers have signed linebacker Cyril Obiozor from the practice squad and placed linebacker Aaron Kampman on injured reserve.

A 6-foot-4, 249-pound rookie from Texas A&M, Obiozor signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May and has spent the first 13 weeks of the 2009 season on the Packers' practice squad. He will wear No. 57.

Kampman played in and started nine games for the Packers this season.
