HOOVER, Ala. -- Linebacker Mike Marry and wide receiver Donte Moncrief, two of Ole Miss' representatives at SEC Media Days, had a little fun with each other when questioned about their attire. There are usually a couple of somewhat flamboyant suits on display at the event, but Marry and Moncrief took it to a higher level. Moncrief wore a lime green bow tie with a seersucker suit, while Marry -- looking not unlike an Easter egg -- had a pink jacket on with aqua blue pants and a matching tie.
When questioned, however, Marry didn't quite want to own the decision.
"Donte Moncrief," Marry said when asked what inspired the choice. "... He helped me pick this out this year to help me open up a little bit."
Moncrief, however, would have none of it.
"Mike's trying to throw it off on me because he's a linebacker and he's got on pink," Moncrief said. "That's all it is. He's trying to make people feel like I did that to him. But Mike picked that out. It looks really good, but I think I can get him with this suit."
