INJURIES

  • WR Rondale Moore (hamstring) has been officially ruled out for Week 1 versus the Chiefs. Coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Friday that he thought Moore had a "50-50" chance at playing. Moore sustained the injury during Thursday's practice, per Kingsbury.
  • TE Zach Ertz (calf) is listed as questionable. 
  • DE Markus Golden revealed Friday that he suffered a fractured toe after dropping a 50-pound weight on his foot last month, which caused him to miss practice up until this week. Golden has been limited since, but said he's going to play "no matter what." Golden was not listed on the final injury report.
  • DE J.J. Watt is "day to day" with a calf injury that kept him out of practice this week, but there's a chance he will still play Sunday considering his experience with the defense, per Kingsbury. Watt is listed as questionable.

  • WR Drake London (knee) is progressing, but will have a final workout Saturday to determine his playing status versus the Saints, per coach Arthur Smith. London is officially listed as questionable.

  • RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is officially listed as questionable versus the Jets after being limited in practice all week. 
  • LT Ronnie Stanley (ankle) returned to practice on Friday but is officially listed as doubtful.

  • RB Christian McCaffrey (shin) was not given a game status on the team's Week 1 injury report versus the Browns. McCaffrey popped up on the injury report Thursday after sustaining a cut on his shin during practice.
  • LB Brandon Smith (thigh; questionable) is the only Panther with a game status on the Week 1 injury report.

  • CB Greedy Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday and will miss at least four games after being placed on injured reserve.

  • QB Dak Prescott (ankle) is set to be a full participant in Friday's practice, coach Mike McCarthy told reporters. Prescott popped up on the injury report Thursday after being limited in practice. The Cowboys QB cited his new cleats as the issue and the ankle not being of any concern. McCarthy added that the team proceeded with "high caution." Prescott was not given a game status Sunday's matchup versus the Buccaneers.
  • WR Michael Gallup (knee) has officially been ruled out after being limited in practice all week.

  • DE Randy Gregory (shoulder/knee) was limited in practice again on Friday but is expected to be OK, according to coach Nathaniel Hackett.

  • C Frank Ragnow (groin) will return to practice Friday but his status remains uncertain for Sunday, coach Dan Campbell told reporters. Ragnow is officially listed as questionable.

  • WR Allen Lazard (ankle) is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday versus Minnesota. Lazard sustained the ankle injury on Wednesday during practice. 
  • TE Robert Tonyan (knee) will be coming off the injury report and is set to play, per coach Matt LaFleur.
  • LT David Bakhtiari (knee) is listed as questionable.
  • OL Elgton Jenkins (knee) is listed as questionable.

  • RB Kyren Williams suffered a high ankle sprain in the season opener versus the Bills and will be out 6-8 weeks, coach Sean McVay told reporters. Williams is having surgery Friday to repair the injury.
  • OT Joe Noteboom has a knee strain, but is expected to play next week versus the Falcons, per McVay.
  • C Brian Allen is having a "procedure" on his knee and will be out 2-4 weeks, per McVay.
  • LS Matt Orzech has a calf strain and is day to day, per McVay. He's expected back before Week 2.

  • OT Isaiah Wynn (back) told reporters Friday that he will be playing after being limited in practice all week. Wynn is listed as questionable.

  • WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) is "progressing in the right direction" but coach Dennis Allen wouldn't clarify whether or not the Saints wideout will be ready to play versus the Falcons. Thomas is officially listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week.

  • S Tyrann Mathieu (illness) is listed as questionable.

  • LB Azeez Ojulari (calf) will practice Friday on a limited basis and is likely another game-time decision, per Daboll. Ojulari is officially listed as doubtful.

  • LT Duane Brown (shoulder) will miss the season opener versus the Ravens and could land on injured reserve, coach Robert Saleh told reporters Friday. Saleh added that George Fant will get the start at left tackle and Max Mitchell will start at right tackle.

Godwin was seen in an orange non-contact jersey in the early portion of Friday's practice. Godwin missed Thursday's practice after being a full participant the day prior. 
  • WR Russell Gage (hamstring) is officially questionable after being limited in practice all week.
