NFL FLAG Championships kick off Super Bowl week in metro Phoenix

Beginning Monday, the NFL FLAG Championships at the Super Bowl will be held around the Phoenix metropolitan area for two days.

The event, which is powered by USA Football, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. MT today and 3 to 7 p.m. MT Tuesday with 32 teams from across the country -- eight regional champions in four divisions -- competing. Divisions include 9-10 coed, 11-12 coed, 13-14 boys and 13-14 girls.

Monday's games will be played at Reach 11 Sports Complex in north Phoenix. Tuesday's finals are scheduled for a playing field at the NFL Experience, which is at the Phoenix Convention Center.

All FLAG athletes will attend the Super Bowl Media on Tuesday at U.S. Airways Arena in downtown Phoenix.
