Navy to wear spectacular hand-painted helmets vs. Army

The Naval Academy released an Under Armour alternate uniform that the Midshipmen will wear in the Dec. 12 Army-Navy game, and amid college football's sea of hideous alt looks, this one is fantastic.

In particular, Navy's helmets will be hand-painted with seven historic ships of the U.S. Naval Fleet, divided by position groups.

Along with the helmets, the Navy uniforms will have a different look, as well. The jersey shoulders and cleats will be battleship gray, and the pants will feature the Eagle, Globe and Anchor Marine logo. CBS will broadcast the Army-Navy game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 3 p.m. ET on Dec. 12.
