The cast of LSU underclassmen leaving the Tigers early for the NFL draft saw its membership increase by two on Monday, with offensive guard Trai Turner being the latest.

His agent, Peter Schaffer, released a statement on Turner's behalf, according to multiple reports.

Earlier Monday, running back Jeremy Hill announced via Twitter that he too will enter the 2014 NFL Draft. He and Turner make six LSU underclassmen headed for the NFL early this year, with at least two more (left tackle La'El Collins, running back Alfred Blue) considering the move, as well.

Turner (6-foot-3, 316 pounds) was named second-team All-SEC by the AP, and is a bullish run blocker from the guard position. Like Hill, the New Orleans native is just a third-year sophomore, but is eligible for the draft because his redshirt season in 2011 makes him three years removed from high school.

The NFL deadline for underclassmen to declare is Jan. 15. Announcements from Collins and Blue, and perhaps running back Kenny Hilliard, should be forthcoming.
