The cast of LSU underclassmen leaving the Tigers early for the NFL draft saw its membership increase by two on Monday, with offensive guard Trai Turner being the latest.
Turner (6-foot-3, 316 pounds) was named second-team All-SEC by the AP, and is a bullish run blocker from the guard position. Like Hill, the New Orleans native is just a third-year sophomore, but is eligible for the draft because his redshirt season in 2011 makes him three years removed from high school.
The NFL deadline for underclassmen to declare is Jan. 15. Announcements from Collins and Blue, and perhaps running back Kenny Hilliard, should be forthcoming.
