Lane Kiffin sings, Nick Saban dances for Alabama recruits

Picture this: Lane Kiffin doing karaoke for Alabama recruits at Nick Saban's house.

Apparently it happened Saturday night.

Kiffin, hired earlier this month as offensive coordinator at Alabama, was a hit at a gathering for Crimson Tide recruits and their parents when he sang Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" with the mother of highly touted prospect Bo Scarbrough, according to alabama247sports.com.

"I think if you're new there, you have to do karaoke," Donetris Scarbough said, per the report. "It's kind of the theme with the new coaches. Everyone has to do a karaoke night. It was his turn and he kept on hiding. He told me, 'I think I'll go on ahead and do it, if you sing with me.' He told me it would make it easier and be fun. We tried to figure out what song we would do first. He said 'come on up here and do it with me, I don't want to do it by myself.'

"It made the night. It was the talk of the night."

It wasn't the only highlight of the night, though. This Vine video shows Saban dancing "The Electric Slide."

While Lane Kiffin's coaching ability has been called into question at times, no one has ever said the guy can't carry a tune, and it's good to see Saban isn't letting that Sugar Bowl loss ruin his offseason.
