Jeremy Trueblood signs with Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins signed unrestricted free-agent offensive tackle Jeremy Trueblood, the team announced Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Trueblood originally was drafted out of Boston College by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round (59th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 101 regular season games with 84 starts during his career.

In 2012, Trueblood appeared in nine games with one start for the Buccaneers. He played in 14 games with seven starts in 2010, helping the Buccaneers average 125.1 rushing yards per game, third-most in the NFC (eighth in the NFL).
