Jaguars OC Koetter reportedly a strong candidate for Hawaii job

Dirk Koetter, the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive coordinator for the last five seasons, reportedly is a strong candidate for the vacant head coaching job at the University of Hawaii, according to CBSSports.com.

Before joining the Jaguars, Koetter posted a 66-44 combined record as a head coach for two different schools. He went 26-10 in three seasons at Boise State, and 40-34 in six seasons at Arizona State.

Hawaii coach Greg McMackin announced his retirement earlier this month. The school said it has received 30 applications for the job.
