It's turning out to be a huge day for running backs (see here, here and here), but no college rusher has ever covered more ground than a back from Division III Heidelberg University in Ohio did on Saturday.

RB Cartel Brooks set an NCAA single-game record, rushing for 465 yards on 38 carries in a 42-14 win over Baldwin Wallace. The previous all-time high was set just a few weeks ago, when Western Connecticut State's Octavias McKoy ran for 455 yards. McKoy broke Dante Brown's record of 441 yards, which he set for Marietta College in 1996.

Brooks had touchdown runs of 81, 41 and 13 yards in the win and finishes the regular season with a school-record 1,704 yards.
