Gators suspend Demarcus Robinson for Tennessee game

Florida has suspended freshman wide receiver Demarcus Robinson for its game against rival Tennesee for an unspecified violation of team rules. The suspension was announced on UF's official football Twitter feed:

The move further handicaps a UF offense that already has struggled to move the ball this season. Robinson had yet to make his first reception of the season, but had seen significant playing time thus far for the Gators. Quarterback Jeff Driskel is also without receiver Andre Debose, who was lost for the season in fall camp. UF does return standout guard Jon Halapio, a fifth-year senior, from a pectoral muscle injury, however. Halapio also has been out since the beginning of fall camp, but returned to practice more than a week ago.

In Robinson's absence, Quinton Dunbar should see significantly more action for Florida against the Volunteers.
