NFL Research takes a look at some key facts and stats to prepare for the Redskins-Cowboys matchup on Thanksgiving Day. Both teams are in the NFC Playoff Picture right now, with Dallas (9-1) holding the No. 1 overall seed in the conference and Washington (6-3-1) holding the No. 6 seed.

Game time:  Thursday, November 24 at 4:30 p.m. ET

Game location:  AT&T Stadium

TV:  FOX

Cowboys at home:  4-1

Redskins on the road:  2-1-1

Season series:  Cowboys lead 1-0 (won 27-23 in Week 2)

Game facts: Washington Redskins

"You like that?":  Kirk Cousins has the highest passer rating in the NFL over his last 20 starts (streak dates back to Week 7, 2015 -- the "You Like That" game).

Offensive juggernaut:  Washington's offense averages 6.4 yards per play (2nd in NFL), 301.4 pass yards per game (3rd) and 418.5 total yards per game (2nd).

Norman vs. Dez:  Josh Norman and Dez Bryant have faced off in two games since the start of 2015. Norman covered Bryant on 39 pass plays in those two games, allowing just one catch for 6 yards.

Washington's weakness:  The Redskins do not rank in the top half of the NFL in most significant defensive categories (18th in scoring defense, 23rd in total defense, 22nd in rushing defense, 18th in pass defense).

Game facts: Dallas Cowboys

Next Gen Stat:  Since Week 8 (OT win over the Eagles), Dak Prescott's air yards per pass attempt has declined in each game.

Mind-blowing stat:  The Cowboys lead the NFL in point differential this season (+98). Each of the last three teams to lead the NFL in point differential made it to the Super Bowl.

Milestone on the line:  The Cowboys have eight straight games with 400+ yards of total offense (tied for longest single-season streak by any team in NFL history).

Dallas' weakness:  The Cowboys have allowed a 99.3 passer rating to opposing QBs (27th in NFL) and a 69.3 completion percentage (31st).
