"It's official I'll be a Buffalo Bill this year," Choice tweeted. "I wanna thank God, the organization, family, friends and fans. Hit the ground running."

The Bills later released a statement in which they confirmed that Choice had agreed to re-sign with the team. Buffalo did not disclose terms.

Choice played in six games with Buffalo last season, rushing for 70 yards on 23 carries and scoring once. In seven games with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, he ran for 82 yards and did not score. He also fumbled five times.

The 27-year-old Choice was a fourth-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2008 NFL Draft. In three full seasons with the team, he had 1,064 rushing yards and eight touchdowns to go along with 426 receiving yards.

Choice was acquired by the Bills via waivers in Nov. 2011 after a fractured fibula forced Buffalo to place running back Fred Jackson on the injured reserve list.
