More than anywhere else on a football field, the bottom of a pile, particularly on a fumble, is known to be a place where anything can happen, and just about anything goes.
But even there, spitting isn't acceptable.
And Florida cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy said that's exactly what Arkansas' Jarrett Lake did to him during UF's 30-10 win over the Razorbacks Saturday night.

Purifoy called it "probably the worst thing that happened to me at the bottom of the pile," according to palmbeachpost.com.
Purifoy is among the most promising cornerback prospects in the nation, a junior who has been projected as high as a first-round talent, whether in the 2014 or 2015 NFL Draft. He's also an accomplished return specialist, as well, but he bobbled a punt near the end of the first half against the Razorbacks, and the pile-up that followed resulted in his claim.
Purifoy said he did not retaliate, knowing how upset UF coach Will Muschamp can get when his players are flagged for personal fouls.
It marks the second time in less than a week that a Florida player accused an Arkansas player of dirty play. UF defensive lineman Damien Jacobs called out Arkansas center Travis Swanson, an NFL prospect himself, for dirty play several days before the game.
