Ex-Redskins LB Rocky McIntosh tries out with Vikings

Former Washington Redskins linebacker Rocky McIntosh had a tryout with the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, a league source said.

McIntosh, a six-year veteran, started 67 games with the Redskins from 2007 to 2011. Last season, however, he started just eight games despite playing in 15.

McIntosh, 29, has 471 career tackles, eight sacks and three interceptions since the Redskins took him in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
