Representatives from 12 NFL teams converged on Duquesne University in Pittsburgh to watch 12 prospects from Duquesne, Robert Morris, Indiana (Pa.) and St. Francis work out on Wednesday.
The pro day was held indoors on a running track, so the conditions weren't ideal. The players weren't able to run the shuttles or three-cone drill.
Indiana (Pa.) tight end Brock DeCicco (6-foot-4 3/4, 244 pounds) opted not to run because of the surface. DeCicco had a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot broad jump. He performed 15 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. He does plan to attend the regional combine in Chicago -- which is being held March 7-8 -- as well as West Chester's pro day.
DeCicco had played at Pittsburgh and Wisconsin before going to IUP. In that time, he played for eight different head coaches at three school. He was a consensus national top-10 tight end in the 2009 recruiting class when he signed at Pitt, which at the time was coached by Dave Wannstedt.
As of right now, DeCicco is considered a rookie free-agent possibility.
